Terms and Conditions
- This competition is open to residents of Great Britain excluding employees and their immediate families of Nike UK Ltd, their agencies or anyone else professionally connected with the competition.
- Entrants must be aged 15 years or over. Winners under the age of 18 will require parental consent to attend the In the Hands of the Gods premiere and must be accompanied by a person aged 18 or over.
- No purchase necessary, simply enter by texting the correct keyword, as available on this website, to the secret codes that can be found in specific locations around the U.K. The locations at which the secret code can be found should be identified by watching the competition videos on this site.
- The Promotion is open from 00:00 on 16.08.07 and will run until all of the premiere tickets have been won. If all premiere tickets have not been won the competition will close at 23:59 on 04.09.07.
- Texts to the secret Nike code will be charged at your standard mobile operator network rate. These will depend on your specific network plan.
- There are 25 pairs of tickets to the premiere of In the Hands of the Gods to be won – 50 tickets in total. 5 pairs of tickets will be available from each secret location. The first five people to text the secret code at each location will win a pair of tickets to the premiere. No prize is offered for people who text the secret code after the tickets available form each individual location have been won.
- Competition winners will receive a text message back from Nike confirming that they have won a pair of tickets to the premiere. A representative from Nike will then contact winners no later than 05.09.07 with full information about attending the premiere.
- Nike UK Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained whilst searching for the 'In the Hands of the Gods' secret text codes. The codes will all be located in freely accessible, public places. Entrants should not put themselves (or anybody else) at risk of harm in the pursuit of the secret code locations.
- Competition entrants should ensure that they are available to travel and attend the premiere on 10.09.07. No alternative prize will be made available in the event that competition winners cannot attend the premiere on this date.
- Travel and accommodation costs are the full responsibility of the individual competition winners. These costs will not be covered by the promoter.
- Neither Nike UK Ltd nor its subsidiaries will engage in any communication regarding this website, including but not limited to the competition mechanic and its results.
- All participants must ensure that they are contactable at any time between 16.08.07 and 06.09.07 (inc) on the same mobile number used for their entry. The Promoter reserves the right to choose a 'runner-up' if any of the winners cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time (to be established at the sole discretion of the Promoter).
- In the event of a mobile phone being lost, stolen or damaged during the promotion, the Promoter is not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new mobile number.
- Incomplete entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions are invalid.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value. No cash alternative will be offered for the prizes. All prizes are non-transferable.
- By entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. All entry instructions form part of the Terms and Conditions.
- A list of prize winners will be made available on request until the 01.12.07, to those enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope to 'Nike' In the Hands of the Gods Competition, c/o AKQA, 1 St. Johns Lane, London, EC1M 4BL.
- Regretfully, we can not be held liable for system failures on the website. Neither can we be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any of the third parties involved in this promotion, although we will always endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure.
- If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or the spirit of the promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, refuse to process a claim. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will result in a forfeit of the prize.
